Little-known fact: the dogsport community in the Edmonton region is one of the most vibrant in North America. Edmonton is the agility epicentre of Western Canada with the highest concentration of internationally acclaimed competitors in all of Canada. And we’re proud to have an incredibly strong community of participants at all levels. Locally, there are opportunities to train everything from obedience to barn hunt, dock diving and flyball, and less-known sports like scent hurdling and Shutzhund.
For a long time, the Edmonton region has deserved a state-of-the-art dogsport event facility to allow members of this community to have a place where they could safely and comfortably compete locally in the sports they train so hard in. And in November of 2022, we opened the doors of the Integrity Dogsport Centre and made it a reality.
We have events scheduled throughout 2023 that will attract regional and national competitors, judges, and spectators. We’re putting our facility on the map and would love to have you join us.
Our community.
The dogsport community is a unique one. Most members stumble into a sport with no idea of how far it will take them. They take an introduction course, and before they know it, they are hooked on various sports and their lives revolve around training with their fluffy teammate. They could be your neighbour, your dental hygienist, or your car salesman. But they all have something in common - their canine teammates mean the absolute world to them.
At our facility, we foster an environment that values and promotes the kind and fair treatment of animals and humans alike. We are proud to have a large membership of like-minded individuals helping us promote these values.
